The Evangelical and Reformed Historical Society is located on the second floor of the Schaff Library building at Lancaster Theological Seminary.
Whether you are researching family members who participated in our constituent churches, planning a church anniversary service, or looking for a home for your church’s records, we may be able to assist.
Founded in 1863 as the Historical Society of the German Reformed Church, the Evangelical and Reformed Historical Society was formed in 1934 when the Reformed Church in the United States merged with the Evangelical Synod of North America.
